Commercial Applications

Catupholstery has extensive experience in producing bespoke upholstery solutions for a wide range of commercial and corporate clients including Bianchis Restaurant, ARUP, Xylotek, HUSK Kitchens, Campus Skateparks, among others. The application of such upholstery solutions is also varied and includes everything from small scale seating areas such as window seats to large auditorium seating and entire restaurant interiors.

These projects were delivered to specification, in line with the client’s brief, within budget and on time and often involved final fitting on site. Catupholstery holds relevant HSE qualifications for on-site work in the UK and its team can deliver large scale projects such as auditorium and theatre seating to exact specification within budget and to tight deadlines.

As a trimmer, Catupholstery excels at delivering the very highest standards of finish and fine detail work, as one would expect to see in a luxury vehicle, but at a larger scale in accordance with the scope of the project in question. Catupholstery continues to focus on delivering consistently high-quality work, even on larger scale projects.

From initial design to final fitting on site, Catupholstery can enable your upholstery project, regardless of scale. With a keen eye for design and detail, a focus on usability and sustainability, Catupholstery can offer bespoke upholstery services that match your brief and budget.

Working at the smaller scale, Catupholstery especially enjoys and excels at curating numerous material and design options from which a client can make a final choice that suits their design ethos, application and use.

Catupholstery has worked alongside large architectural firms, smaller design studios, individual interior designers and directly with clients themselves.

Prototyping and One-Off Applications

Catupholstery has vast experience of producing upholstery solutions for applications such as one-off vehicles, prototypes, rare classic cars and historic planes.

When prototyping from scratch, Catupholstery can make patterns when an off the shelf solution is unavailable or inappropriate. Similarly, when restoring a seat from a classic car, often the original seat covers are so badly damaged or missing that they cannot be used. Catupholstery can create new patterns that match existing seat bases. Catupholstery can also modify and/or repair existing seat bases to improve comfort useability and durability.

Catupholstery has designed, patterned, made and installed everything from complete interiors to one off motorcycle saddles and everything in between for a wide range of specialist, rare, historic and luxury vehicles.
